These would be wonderful for any Jewellery Maker! Andesine is a fantastic substitute for more expensive red gems, like garnet and ruby.
Andesine is a versatile Crystal to have in your design inventory due to the wide range of colours that are accessible. Andesine works well in jewellery designs for both men and women.
Andesine Gemmology Facts:
Andesine is part of the Feldspar family, which includes Labradorite and Moonstone. It’s named after the Andes mountains in South America and is a remarkably coloured stone often used in jewellery making as an alternative to Rubies!
Andesine has a faint metallic schiller called Labradorescence and exhibits a range of colours known as Pleochroism. A small, rare amount of this Gemstone also changes colour.
These are heat treated to look red, as natural red Andesine is very rare and expensive.
This material has been tested in our trusted laboratory, and Marie is very delighted with the results. Whilst this is heat and diffusion treated, what you are getting is a truly phenomenal Gemstone from a trusted supplier who has literally scoured high and low to ensure the quality.
Crystal Healing Properties: What is Andesine good for?
Andesine is known and used in practice as a Stone of Protection. Whilst wearing it, Andesine helps us retain needed energies and, as per its protective qualities, ensures against undesirable energy. When worn around particularly negative people or within negative situations, it is a fantastic companion as its energy-deflecting vibes kick out!
Similarly to Labradorite, this Crystal acts to connect intuition with the intellect that facilitates creative thought, that’s perfect for ideal for innovators, healers, writers and any work where the combination of creative thoughts and a stronger, deeper awareness is desired and required!
This Crystal may be used to balance your emotions and yourself and is quite helpful when you need to overcome fear and believe in yourself and your inner truth.
What Chakra does Andesine open?
Andesine is used to clear the mind and banish negativity because it is connected to the Heart Chakra.
We know the colour red is associated with the Root Chakra, which is positioned at the base of our spine. This Chakra can give you a sense of security and ground to the Earth’s vibrations. Associated with the Root Chakra, Andesine is an extremely nurturing Stone, it helps balance out energy levels and is great at centring and grounding you as an individual.
GEMSTONE & CRYSTAL CARE:
One of the most important things to remember if you own Gemstones or Crystals is to care for them properly. Gemstones should be carefully cared for like any other item we love. We recommend using the Chalmers Gems Gemstone Cleaning & Polishing Cloth to keep your Gems clean.
