Dragon Blood Jasper is a variety of Quartz which contains an element of other materials/inclusions, such as organic material and mineral material, and it is these inclusions that determine the colours, patterns and appearance within the Gemstone.

When you look at any type of Jasper, it is usually multicoloured with curious patterns.

 Jasper appears in a huge range of colours, including blue, red, green, yellow, black, or even the distinctive green-and-red speckled variety known as Bloodstone.

There is virtually nowhere on Earth you cannot find Jasper. It is found on every continent, but the most visited deposits are in India, Egypt and the southwestern United States of America.
