What is a New Moon?
The New Moon in Libra occurs on October 6 2021. The New Moon is when the Sun and Moon are perfectly aligned. The Sun and Earth are on opposite sides of the Moon. An everpresent monthly occurrence to get clarity on which path to take over the course of the next couple of weeks until the next Full Moon.

We are well and truly into Libra season now, an abundance of balance, beauty, and pumpkin spice scented or flavoured everything. As the star sign ruling commitment and partnership, Libra is kind, diplomatic and balancing (hence the scales symbol).
This New Moon is a time for reflection, Mediation and a deeper understanding of life journey. However, it is also super-charged for its gutsy determination and courage – all thanks to the close positioning of Mars. The feisty red planet represents our drive (yes, including sex drive), ambition, passion, and energy!
The ability to harness all of this incredible energy productively and healthily is key to channelling the New Moon potential. If you need to stand your ground in the name of justice, you’ll have plenty of cosmic energy on your side. Brace yourself for battle, but avoid getting sucked into the spiral of negative emotions.
