Citrine is Quartz’s yellow or golden form – the largest Gemstone family. Its sisters include Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Smokey Quartz, to name a few. The beautiful colouring of Citrine is attributed to iron within the Gems’ structure.

Citrine was once Amethyst, but after being heated at high temperatures, it transformed from purple to orange. Citrine’s colour can vary from pale yellow to a deep amber orange.
