Each single Tear Drop is hand-cut, so sizes vary but are roughly 3.5 x 2cm each. For just £5 per piece, you will be able to create a superb value-for-money handmade piece of Jewellery.

GEMMOLOGY FACTS: SEPTARIAN

Septarian, also known as Dragon Stone, can only be found in a few locations globally, Australia, Madagascar and America.

The Nodules formed approximately 100 million years ago and began their life at the bottom of a Sea. Sediment composed of decomposing plants and animals calcified, creating this beautifully constructed Gemstone. The tide and wave action of the sea has formed this sediment into balls. When the ocean receded, the balls dried and cracked. A solution then infiltrated its way into the cracks and formed as Calcite giving its beautiful yet unusual marbling formation.
