RHODOCHROSITE GEMMOLOGY FACTS: 

Rhodochrosite is the national Stone of Argentina after being found by the Inca People in the 13th Century. It was believed these Gems were the blood of their fallen Kings and Queens.

It grows in the same formation as Malachite with beautiful banding throughout called botryoidal structures and truly is a rare find. Luckily, we were able to get it for you at such an amazing price!

They have a Mohs hardness rating of 3.5 to 4.5, making them excellent Gemstones for carving into various shapes.
