Red Garnet is a Mineral that can be found across the world in sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks.

The word Garnet comes from the Latin word Granatus, when translated meaning seeds or grains.

People have used Garnet for Jewellery and decorative purposes for hundreds of years. It is one of the oldest known Gemstones.

Red Garnet is the traditional birthstone of January.

Garnet has a hardness of 6.5 – 7.5 on the Mohs Scale.
