Bronze Rutile Quartz is a mineral which grows in a needle-like formation. The Quartz grows around this miracle goldenness encapsulating the Rutile and trapping it inside.

Rutile Quartz is commonly found in Reddish orange-brown tones. It is mostly mined in Africa, India, Brazil, Madagascar and Australia.

For many years Rutilated Quartz was disregarded by miners as worthless. Only pure Quartz was deemed as a valuable Crystal, tainting the beauty that is Rutile Quartz. However, during the 20th century Fashion designers and Collectors started to recognise the unique beauty this Stone provides likening the inclusions to that of angel hair.

On the Mohs Scale of Hardness Rutile is 6-6.5
