This Gem belongs to a family of minerals known as the Gypsum Group. Most of the Crystals found are transparent and colourless; however, specimens can be found in different colours.

Coming from the Greek word for moon – the literal translation is Moon Glow. We can see why! When light is shone through Selenite, the material’s structure captures the rays and amplifies and shimmers them throughout the piece.
