Selenite belongs to a family of minerals known as the Gypsum Group. Most of the Crystals found are clear and colourless; however different colours specimens can be found. We have Peach Selenite Products too!

Coming from the Greek word for moon – Selenite’s literal translation is Moon Glow. We can see why! When light is shone through Selenite, the material’s structure captures the rays and amplifies and shimmers them throughout the piece. The Ancient Greeks loved Selenite so much that they used it to make windows! How amazing is that?!

Selenite is a delicate Crystal and so handle it with care. Selenite is water-soluble, so please avoid contact with water.
