QUALITY:

Whilst other suppliers would class these products as First Quality, Marie has scrupulously Quality Controlled them and deemed them to be Seconds due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • Slight Surface Scratches
  • Unwarranted Blemishes
  • Imperfect Cut
  • Imperfect Gemstone Quality
  • Incorrect Sizing
  • Imperfect Polish

It is very important to note that Chalmers Gems do not sell Second Quality as standard practice, however, these products only just missed the mark, and we made the decision to offer our Customers the opportunity to buy them – as this really is the first-rate quality of other well-known suppliers.

At Chalmers Gems, we take our Quality Control to another level to ensure you receive the best possible product for your money.

Gemmology Facts: Coco Jasper

Jasper, of all forms, is an aggregate micro-granular quartz or cryptocrystalline chalcedony and even other minerals. As an opaque Gemstone, it’s an impure type of silica that can come in many colours and patterns – largely depending on the minerals that make their way (via wind or rain) into the original Quartz during its making within Mother Earth.

In a cunning earthly wonder, Coco Jasper is made up of loads of tiny, miniature Crystals that are packed together and interlock to create this original and unique Gemstone.

Used since the stone age, Jaspers have been used as Gemstones to accentuate Jewellery and is often carved and polished into individual adornments.

Jaspers are relatively hard, so they are great for the more robust makes.

There is virtually nowhere on Earth you cannot find Jasper. It is found on every continent, but the most visited deposits are in India, Russia, Egypt and the southwestern United States of America.

Certain patterns and shades can even be identified back to the region in which they were found.

Within your Cabochon Pack of Coco Jasper, the patterns start with a highly polished dark black base and are embellished with curious veins of light minerals, giving it stunning white and, sometimes, golden highlights. This unique shading is caused by its high mineral content and how it compounds over millions of years.

Crystal Healing Properties: What is Coco Jasper good for?

Jasper comes in various colours, including Black, Dalmatian, Fancy Jasper & Reds, but Coco Jasper has a beautiful dark, black base lifted with pale veins throughout. This very protective Stone has a deep earthen colouring that resonates very strongly with our connection to the earth, keeping us grounded.

Jaspers have deep resounding vibrations with the earth, which makes them a strong grounding influence.

As with all Jaspers, Coco Jasper nourishes your life force and is used in practice for its supreme nurturing, offering warmth and comfort. It helps to balance our energy levels, so it is great for post-Meditation when you feel that you are perhaps being pulled one way and need some centring and some grounding.

What chakra does Coco Jasper open?

We know that these earthen colours of Coco Jasper are associated with the Root Chakra, which is positioned at the base of our spine. This Chakra can give you a sense of security and grounding to the Earth’s vibrations.

Coco Jasper has wonderful potent grounding properties, planting your feet firmly on the ground regardless of how far or high you fly. It is a Gemstone that brings balance, endurance, courage, and inner strength.

Jaspers are a solid ally for providing comfort and balance when feeling out of sync. This protective Stone absorbs negative energy by bringing tranquillity and a sense of wholeness.

It makes great Jewellery, as you can wear your Gemstone in situations where being rooted, protected, and balanced is essential. For example, a Coco Jasper pendant could bring balance and protection and absorbs negative vibes that can consume us throughout the day.

Natural nurturers, Jaspers transmute negative energies and give us a sense of balance and ground us, hence is associated with the Root Chakra.

Gemstone & Crystal Care:

One of the most important things to remember if you own Gemstones or Crystals is to care for them properly. Gemstones should be carefully cared for like any other item we love. We recommend using the Chalmers Gems Gemstone Cleaning & Polishing Cloth to keep your Gems clean.
