Our Black Rutile Quartz Flat Drops come on a long, approximately 38cm Strand and have a Drill Hole size of 0.6mm, enabling most makes!

With the Bead sizes between 6 x 8 and 10 x 12 mm, you could sort them into smaller and larger sizes and use them in those sorted sizes. Or could you keep them random? Choices, choices!

A long time ago, the Rutile Crystal grew in beautiful needle-like fibres. Rutile Quartz is formed when the conditions change, creating a hydrothermal process.

This is where high temperatures cool and the pressure eases. The Quartz grows around this miracle mineral encapsulating the Rutile and trapping it inside, creating this pretty Gemstone.
