White Agate Gemmology Facts:

White Agate is an absolute favourite at Chalmers Gems, as every single piece is unique. Agate takes 50 million years to form from the deposition of layers of silica that fill voids in volcanic cavities. The layers form in stages, with new layers often forming alternating colours.

Much Agate is dyed to give it vibrant colours, which accentuate the striations throughout the material. There are countless varieties of Agate, and their names tend to be associated with their appearance.

For example, Blue Lace Agate demonstrates baby blue and white lace-like branding, whereas Fire Agate comes in deep oranges and red giving it a fiery appearance.

This Crystal can be found largely in Brazil. However, it’s primarily mined in Mexico, South America, Europe and the United States of America.

Much Agate is dyed to give it vibrant colours, which accentuates the material’s striations.

CRYSTAL HEALING PROPERTIES: WHAT IS AGATE GOOD FOR?

This Stone has the most complex and long-standing history, even mentioned in the Bible as Heaven’s Gemstone. Having been used throughout the human ages as a voider of toxicity, this was (and is still) believed to help alleviate fever.

This Gem holistically brings a brilliant harmony of the soul, mind and body. Keeping this Crystal near you will help stabilise your aura, eliminating and doing away with any negative energies.

White Agate has a strong energy that balances and releases stagnant emotions. This is why having an ornate piece of this beautiful Gem in your living or working space is a good idea!

This is a great Gemstone to use during meditative practices.

They can even be used within group meditation, harmonising each individual to work towards a common goal or alone to help guide, relax and reduce stress from those obstacles that daily life can throw at us. As well as a luck Stone, our Agate is also the Stone of love.

This Gem can positively awaken your mind and body to self-love, as let’s be honest, self-love is one of the largest universal healers.

WHAT CHAKRA DOES AGATE OPEN?

Like many other forms of Agate Stones, this Gem works closely with the Heart Chakra, ensuring there are no blockages so that love can flow freely.

This Crystal aligns with the Heart Chakra, ensuring that you are open, your vibrations are increased, and you are ready to accept all of the love and glory that the universe has to offer.

GEMSTONE & CRYSTAL CARE:

One of the most important things to remember if you own Gemstones or Crystals is to care for them properly. Gemstones should be carefully cared for like any other item we love.

We recommend using the Chalmers Gems Gemstone Cleaning & Polishing Cloth to keep your Gems clean.
