Pink Tourmaline is a variety of Tourmaline found in soft pink hues. Varieties of Tourmaline are found in metamorphic rocks such as Granite and Marble. The formation of Tourmaline is fascinating. It is produced in Pegamatites which are voids found deep underground. They are filled with a mineral-rich hot liquid. Once the fluid begins to cool, the minerals start to Crystalise, forming Tourmaline Crystals.

Well-known other varieties of this Gemstone are Black Tourmaline, Watermelon Tourmaline and Cat’s Eye Tourmaline.
