Eagle Eye is part of the Quartz family and is closely related to Tigers Eye and Hawks Eye. Like Tigers Eye, Eagle Eye is a pseudomorph, meaning it replaced the structure of another Mineral, giving it a glossy and often Chatoyant effect – which is why it’s described as an eye because the Chatoyant effect looks like an eye.
