Each Pack has been Quality Examined by Marie personally. Dimensions vary, there is plenty of versatile Cabochons in this Pack! These Gems will make beautiful Jewellery.

It is very important to note that Chalmers Gems do not sell Second Quality as standard practice, however, these products only just missed the mark, and we made the decision to offer our Customers the opportunity to buy them – as this really is the first-rate quality of other well-known suppliers.

Gemmology Facts: Amazonite

Did you know Amazonite Jewellery has been dated back to 5,200BC? This just feels incredible and a legacy we must continue!

Amazonite is a variety of microcline, a form of Feldspar which comes in the form of crystal masses.

Other beauties in the Feldspar family include gemstones such as Labradorite, Moonstone and Sunstone, to name but a few!

Amazonite often has a shimmering effect, and this is due to the cleavage planes within the Amazonite catching the light. Due to its construct, Amazonite is a nice hard Gemstone, so it works incredibly well with your Jewellery Making pieces that need certain robustness and your Collectables that you don’t really need to hide away so much from prying hands!

You may find Amazonite being sold under another name, Amazon Stone – it’s generally the same thing. However, the Gemstone market is littered with dyed or enhanced Amazonite, so you must ensure your source.

Crystal Healing Properties: What is Amazonite Crystal good for?

It offers a lovely additional splash of colour to your Collection, but it also has a very balancing and calming effect.

It will help to alleviate fear and worry, so it is a wonderful Gemstone to weave into your designs.

It’s also a Stone that helps us to feel better, as it calms the nerves and is useful when used with the nervous system. A very soothing and calming Stone, Amazonite is a great de-stressor and helps to alleviate the chaos in a troubled mind.

What Chakra does Amazonite open?

Associated with the Heart Chakra, Amazonite is a compassionate and nourishing healer that helps us deal with relationships by keeping the emotional temperature ambient! It opens us to love and compassion and can also help unblock the Throat Chakra, which is where the centre of our communication lies.

Suitable for water cleansing. However, using Moonlight is the best way to cleanse and charge your Crystal.
